Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we (our church) participated in the Monona Memorial Day parade with 2 floats, one with our worship team and another with our AWANA program. Emma, Abigail and Mommy rode on the AWANA float and had lots of fun throwing candy.

Emma sits on Abby's lap while they wait. There were so many things to see:

Camels grazing on somebody's lawn. I hope they cleaned up after them!

Miniature pirates on another church's float. We thought the little guy sucking on a lollipop through his nose ring was cute.

After the parade back at church, Oakfest was in full swing, complete with carnival games, concessions and let's not forget the 4 bounce houses! Emma spent most of the afternoon jumping around and would only stop when Mommy told her she could get her face painted by Twinkle's Mommy.

Emma was very proud to have her picture taken with Twinkle. She thinks it would be lots of fun to be a clown!

Special Day with Daddy

On Daddy's last day of school, Mommy dropped Emma and Abby off with Daddy for a special date. They walked around the lake, saw a duck family, shared special strawberry ice cream, and rode the bus to Daddy's car. They had a great time!

What about Lizzie? She is enjoying learning how to sit in the Bumbo seat we borrowed from cousin Adelle. (Don't worry, we don't normally set her on the table, it was only to take the picture.)

Tickle, Tickle!

Lizzie's First Tattoo..Don't Worry It's Temporary!

At a recent doctor's visit, we had to wait in the room for a loooong time, so the nurses let the girls get into their sticker/tattoo stash. They decided Lizzie needed one too. For those of you who have seen her super baby impression, her tattoo will seem very appropriate.

Daddy took us out for a welcome home treat at Culver's. As you can see, Abby really got into her bowl. (Notice the perfect circle all around her face.)

Visit to Iowa

The girls and Erin started out the month of May with a visit to Iowa. Here are some highlights of our trip.

Water in the Basement

As most of you know by now, we had water seep up into our basement when our sump pump failed during a thunderstorm. We had to rip out the carpet. What a mess!
